Our BMWs R 1250 GS - Rent a motorcycle in Hamburg and Stuttgart
As our two BMW R 1250 GS still need to be run in and I'm not afraid of working overtime, I took the whole day today to do it 😀
I actually feel most comfortable on my KTMs but after this afternoon I'd say it's a tie!
Everything I complained about with the BMW 1200 GS LC is no longer there... Great gearbox (as smooth as butter) and the clutch can also be pulled more smoothly. The lateral forces of the flywheel are only minimally noticeable. The engine and its power delivery are absolutely linear - no power hole and pressure from the very bottom, simply great!
For my very personal taste, I just miss the desired kick in the ass from 6,000 rpm, as I know it from the KTMs 😛
